ATTENTION ALL VETERANS AND RELATIVES OF VETERANS

If you have served your country in the Armed Forces, you may be able to join the American Legion.  If you are related to a veteran, you can probably  join the American Legion Auxiliary or the Sons of the American Legion.  We need to strengthen our membership to help face the many challenges to the veterans who served our country.
We are also involved in many other works, such as scholarships,  educational programs, blood drives, the Gifts for Yanks program, and  other worthwhile projects. We are a non-profit organization and much of our spending directly benefits our own community and neighborhood.

Post 484, pictured at the right, has nearly 400 members.  The post sponsors or partcipates in many community-oriented activities.  The legion building has historic significance as the part of the building at the left was once a train station.  The right side of the building is an addition, and it serves as our meeting hall.  Legion Auxiliary Unit 484 and Sons of the American Legion Squadron 484 also use the building.  The hall is  also available for rental.
